The Lithuanian forest festival returns July 16–20, bringing a new conceptual framework and three stages of electronic music.

Yaga Gathering has announced its 2026 programme. Running July 16–20 in southern Lithuania, the festival has operated out of a forest setting since 2003, programming electronic music alongside contemporary art and performance.

New for this edition is the Mycelium Institute — a thematic framework the festival is using to connect its various parts: stages, installations, and communal spaces are framed as nodes in a single living network rather than separate strands of programming. The concept draws on mycelium as a metaphor for decentralised connection, which is well-trodden ground at this point, but the application across a multi-day forest gathering gives it some practical grounding.

The music programme spans three stages — Valley, Pinegrove, and Duskwood — each with its own sonic logic.

Valley is where the club-facing programming sits, pulling in names like Kohra, Paranoid London (live), Iñigo Vontier, and XIAOLIN in DJ mode, alongside Lithuanian artists including Rūta Mei, Mantas T., and SHN. Human Space Machine appear here in live form too, bookending their appearance on Pinegrove as a DJ set.

Pinegrove is the most expansive of the three, with a long list that spans club adjacency and more exploratory territory. Perila is a highlight — her textured, introspective approach to electronics feels well-suited to the setting. grad_u, Nathan Dawidowicz (hybrid-live), Hedda Gamma, and Philipp Otterbach add further depth, while the Lithuanian contingent is well represented through names like Dalius Travinas, Rambynas, and Tarvainis.

Duskwood, meanwhile, operates on darker, weirder frequencies — psytrance, dub, and whatever Necropsycho is bringing. Lucy Headburn, Dryad, Jorine, and Turbulence round out a stage that seems designed for the deep end of the night.

Beyond the music, the programme takes in contemporary art, performance, talks, workshops, crafts, and holistic practices, all folded into the Mycelium Institute concept and spread across the forest site.
