Kasper Bjørke’s Icy Nordic Cold Wave – Watch

We're more than taken with the new single from Kasper Bjørke – the Danish producer has channeled the melancholic synth pop of early Depeche Mode to create a moody masterpiece that calls to mind the slow motion grind of Kavinsky's 'Nightcall'. The accompanying video sticks to an 80s post punk aesthetic, all neon flickers and stark vector graphics. The track is taken from Bjørke'sd forthcoming album 'After Forever'.
"After Forever is good for dark, sad dancing" writes Kasper "- or a headphone journey inwards. I feel like I really went somewhere else on this album, to a place where I haven’t been before. Out of my safety zone and into a darker space".
The album comes out through HFN Records on September 22nd – pre order here
