Jonny Greenwood’s ‘There Will Be Blood’ Soundtrack To Be Performed Live

Jonny Greenwood and the London Contemporary Orchestra will embark on a tour of the UK next year performing his soundtrack to 2007’s Paul Thomas Anderson Directed There Will Be Blood.

The Radiohead guitarist and the 50-strong orchestra who worked with the band on A Moon Shaped Pool will be doing live performances of the soundtrack alongside screenings of the film across four UK venues in January and February.

Greenwood is fresh off the back of a massive year of touring with Radiohead while simultaneously having spent time performing with Shye Ben Tzur and the Rajasthan Express, a collaboration born out of another partnership with Anderson in 2015.

There Will Be Blood won a slew of Academy awards when it was released, including that for Best Picture as well as being nominated for a Grammy for "Best Score Soundtrack Album For Motion Picture, Television Or Other Visual Media".

Feb 05 – Birmingham @ Birmingham Symphony Hall

Feb 06 – Brighton @ The Dome
