Jóhann Jóhannsson Releases Documentary Trailer And ‘Arrival’ Soundtrack

Following on from his Oscar nomination for Best Original Score for 'Sicario', Jóhann Jóhannsson’s third cinematic collaboration with French-Canadian director Denis Villeneuve 'Arrival' is out now. He has also uploaded a short, documentary-style trailer that gives a rare studio insight into the score’s creation. The intellectual sci-fi thriller starring Amy Adams and Forest Whittaker has received much critical praise, and Jóhannsson and Villeneuve's next project is the much anticipated sequel to the legendary science fiction film ‘Blade Runner’. Jóhann will embark on a major European tour this December, featuring material from his recent solo album ‘Orphée’, as well as new arrangements of works from his solo catalogue, with bespoke light design and visual projections.
