Incognito producer Serious Hots announces self-titled debut EP

Mysterious producer Serious Hots has revealed details of his debut self-titled EP, set for release on his new eponymous label.

Powered by his manifesto – “If you’re going to have fun, please take it seriously” – Serious Hots offers up four tracks rooted in electro and bass-driven house that are peppered with spoken word and ‘pops, sniffs and aah’s’ that act as percussive guides.

Having already picked up support from the likes of Ivan Smagghe, C.A.R, Not An Animal, Viscera and Dave Harvey, the music is an introduction into the synthesised musical world of this enigmatic producer.

The EP kicks off with shuffling old school electro opener ‘Ha!’, quickly followed by the sludgy digi house of ‘Information’ and synthesised grooves of ‘The Sexy Professor’ who offers life affirming words, before wrapping up with ‘I’m LSD’, a rippling electro techno cut laced with a 90s rave rap.
