In Flagranti Releasing 60 Minute Mixtape ‘Sprezzatura’ In April

In Flagranti, the Swiss DJ, producer and visual artist partnership of Alex Gloor and Sasa Crnobrnja are releasing a sixty minute mixtape cassette and 30 track download called 'Sprezzatura'. Their fourth album, it offers a squelchy and unusual romp across disco, electro, raw house, Balearica, Latin touches, slow-mo chug, dub and techno all in one or two minute clips. It is inspired by Sasa's record buying in the Eighties, when he used to travel to Italy for clubbing and vinyl stores. "In Rimini there was a great store called Disco Piu. They had this service where if you were out of town or from another country, you could sign-up and get a cassette of all the new releases in the post every week. Each new track was recorded for about a minute and there was a voice counting – so you could write down the tracks you liked – then phone or fax the track numbers and the date of the cassette, they’d send you the records and you’d pay on delivery, which was amazing”, he says.
