Holly Herndon’s Lectures From Ableton’s Loop Are Now available to watch in full

Ableton held its first ever Loop event in Berlin last year. This meeting for music makers involved lectures, workshops and panel discussions. The three day event included a lecture from Holly Herndon. Her lectures are now available to view online.
Herndon discusses, ‘the role process plays in her creative vision’. After attending Mills College and Stanford University she became a recording artist and started using ‘process-based composition methods'. She uses examples of her recent work that focus on the government surveillance and the internet age.
