Helado Negro, Roberto Carlos Lange's alter ego musical project, returns with an expanded reissue of his 2016 release album, Private Energy on RVNG Intl. this May.

The Brooklyn-based artist and label come together to offer a double vinyl alongside new CD and digital editions, as well as a 'private press' edition consisting of 50 silk-screened record sets featuring a hand-touch element by Roberto Carlos Lange himself. Though, these are only available if attending Come Together Music Festival and Label Market, New York City, this Sunday 26th March. Nope, neither are we…

An auditory experience first and foremost, the album is lyrically rich, and playful in tackling themes of race, sexuality and normality/abnormality, employing both traditional and abstract musical styles to deliver Helado's stories. A compilation of the four 'Obras' — 'Obras Dos', 'Obras Tres', 'Obras Cuatro' and 'Obras Cinco' can be heard played to a visual counterpart from Roberto below.

Helado Negro's Private Energy (Extended) is released on 5th May 2017.
