Goran Kajfes Set To Release The Reason Why Vol.2 On Vinyl

Swedish trumpeter Goran Kajfes is releasing the second edition to his The Reason Why Vol. 1 on vinyl on June 29th.

Goran Kajfes is joined by Subtropic Arkestra for The Reason Why Vol. 2 (Well, what did you think it was going to be called?). Its release follows the Grammy-nominated and critically acclaimed album The Reason Why Vol. 1 and the Nordic Prize-winning X/Y, both released on Headspin. Authors of the songs on this album include American indie band Grizzly Bear, Cameroonian author and musician Francis Bebey, and Brazilian legend Milton Nascimento. You'll also find a good bit of Turkish psychedelia we well as Balkan-inspired sounds and rhythms that'll act as some nice spices for this musical stew.
