Harvey, alongside close colleague Bristol DJ Ellie Stokes, felt the need to draw a line under 10 years of Futureboogie.

The much loved imprint has been in operation for ten years. Earlier this month they announced that their forthcoming compilation would be the final outing for what has become an illustrious label which has released music by the likes of Lauer, Mark E, Julio Bashmore, Marco Bernardi and many, many more.

Founded by Dave Harvey and Steve Nickolls, the roots of Futureboogie lie in an intimate Bristol party called Seen. Started in 2002, this open-hearted session invited the likes of Metro Area, Attica Blues, Carl Craig, Maurice Fulton, Moodymann and Gilles Peterson and lead to the formation of the label.

The final release on the imprint will be available from next month and features music by the likes of James Welsh, Tech Support, Dj Nature, Hard Ton, Manami and more.

It will be available in both digital and vinyl formats.

Harvey, alongside close colleague Bristol DJ Ellie Stokes, felt the need to draw a line under 10 years of Futureboogie and look ahead to something new. As such, they’ll be launching a new label called Small Victories in the near future.
