Free Cajmere Download

Late in October, Strut Records continue an exploration into the roots of classic house music with a retrospective on two of the most important names in Chicago house: Cajmere, and the seminal Cajual Records imprint.

They're giving away a free download of the conversational classic, "Chit Chat," produced by Cajmere (born Curtis Jones, later known as Green Velvet). Originally released in 1992, Jones recalls that "Chit Chat always makes me think of Tony Humphries because he showed that song so much love. It’s really because of him that the song became as popular as it did.”

Only 4 U will be released October 30th on 2CD, 2LP, and digital download, with liner notes by Bill Brewster and rare photos from the Cajual archive. We'll have some more news about that closer the time and maybe even a little comp to go with it, but for now, here's the download……
