Ransom Note is a small, independent publication run by a team of five. We have been in operation for ten years and cannot recall a time as turbulent for the music community in all respects. As the world begins to reopen there is positivity and progress in sight for some. However, for others, like ourselves, that isn’t quite the case as of yet.

We operate independently, based on good will and with our own money. Ransom Note’s only significant and primary source of income otherwise comes from from festival and event partnerships. As such we have incurred significant losses and sadly now have some serious concerns about our stability and future as a publication.

We’ve always done our best to humbly represent our culture, focussing on uplifting those around us and working together to make things better. We strive to make music honest and representative of the hard working people who listen to us and read our publication.

We hope that you have found value in this and that we can continue to do so in the future.

Due to popular demand, the previously sold-out Field Maneuvers festival has been granted permission from authorities for a slightly increased capacity at this year's edition. This means that super limited tickets are on sale now, but won't last long!

New to the festival this year is the late night ambient cafe; expect cosy cushions, warm fire pits, an ideal place to kick back and connect with friends old and new.
