Field Day have announced a third wave of acts for their now 2 day London festival on 7th & Sunday 8th June 2014 welcoming back Jamie xx, Funkineven (live), Tourist, Drenge joining latest additions, Animal Collectives Avey Tares Slasher Flicks as well as iconic 80’s legend Neneh Cherry & RocketNumberNine in support of her rather fine album “Blank Project”.   There’ll also be sets from 6 Music’s and Radio 1’s Jen Long, Marc Riley, Phil Taggart…and more names to be announced soon!

Field Day founder Tom Baker on the new additions:  “Im really pleased to add another wave of acts to Field Day; Jamie xx has been a Field Day favourite over the years, he played back in 2011, and some of you might remember an early afternoon, small stage set with The xx back in 2009 before they shot to fame. Its also brilliant to have the legendary Neneh Cherry back with her first album in 18 years alongside the fantastic RocketNumberNine, and of course the likes of Telegram, Drenge, Childhood and The Bohicas are some of the exciting additions to the already excellent Field Day Sunday alongside Pixies only London show of 2014!s

We are thrilled to welcome back Jamie xx to Field Day! The producer, remixer and one third of Mercury Music Prize winning band The xx, will join latest additions, Animal Collectives Avey Tares Slasher Flicks as well as iconic 80s legend Neneh Cherry on the Field Day Saturday line up. Neneh was the soundtrack to many people’s youth, and, after two decades, she has just released her long awaited solo album “Blank Project”, and will be gracing the Field Day stage with the excellent live backing of RocketNumberNine.

Also on board are Filipino boy wonder Eyedress, West Londons Hip-Popper Only Real, minimal indie pop quartet Arthur Beatrice, with their brilliantly received debut Working Out and 18-year-old singer/producer Jamie Isaac, who will bring the delicate textures of his infectious electronic production to Victoria Park. 
We are very excited to welcome deep house producer Tourist and the incredible producer FunkinEven from the Eglo stable, as well as uber-party starters ReviveHER. Plus expect great sets from 6 Music’s and Radio 1’s Jen Long, Marc Riley, Phil Taggart…and more names to be announced soon!

We are delighted to announce new additions to the Field Day Sunday 8th June line up, which so far includes seminal band Pixies headlining their only London show in 2014, as well as The Horrors, Temples and Pond!
Joining the latest addition, the brilliant grunge brothers Drenge, are London rockers Childhood and psychedelic band Telegram, who will bring their kraut beat with a dash of glam to Field Day. Also confirmed are Domino’s latest signing The Bohicas with their ambitious and arresting rock’n roll as well as new guitar band Shy Nature. More exciting news coming very soon!
