David Lynch Unveils Super Deluxe Version of ‘The Big Dream’

Music

The Big Dream, the sophomore album from David Lynch, is already one of the years most acclaimed albums, with everyone from NME to the Evenng Standard lauding its striking singularity and extraordinary breadth of vision.

Now, just before the year is out, Lynch is unveiling a gloriously deluxe edition of the record. So in addition to repackaging the album in all its beautiful, crepuscular glory, there is also another CD complete with 2 two unreleased tracks, And Light Shines and the harrowing Bad the John Boy, conceived during recording of The Big Dream and which you can hear now.  In keeping with the nocturnal atmospherics of the album, it sounds like a warped nightmare in which Lynchs typically unorthodox vocals sit alongside the tracks throbbing pulse to create an unsettling and thrilling listen. There are also remixes of album tracks by the likes of Bastille, Hot Since 82, Bjorn Yttling and Venetian Snares.

The deluxe edition is available digitally or as a gorgeous box set complete with a booklet, poster and a limited edition numbered key ring.
