Cid Rim Unleashes Two Emotive Synth Crackers On Affine Records
We're not entirely sure how to describe Cid Rim's music, and in a world of identikit bobbins, that can often be the highest compliment. It makes sense that the Vienna based producer has released tracks through the ever-innovative Lucky Me- his fusion of soaring, optimistic synthlines, cinematic drums and occasional flurries of bass share DNA with Lucky Me alumni Hudson Mohawke and Rustie. Having spent recent months working with some of our favourite new rappers – including South Africans Okmalumkoolkat and Spoek Mathambo, Cid has now returned to his solo work, returning to his own Affine records for this new 3 track EP.
