As part of this series, Ceri is giving away one free spot on the course to a female, female-indentifying or non-binary producer. To be in with a chance of bagging the space, give Ceri’s Instagram post a like and a share, tagging @cerimusic and @thisisransomnote before the deadline on 2nd November.
Running weekly from Tuesday 9th November to Tuesday 9th December, the course will focus on a series of different areas to help producer’s who’ve mastered the beginner’s level but are finding themselves at a standstill when it comes to finishing tracks.
Among the subjects covered are understanding the arrangment process, how to use EQ, sampling creatively, overcoming mental blocks, remix techniques, basic MixDown skills, connecting with likeminded producers, opportunity for feedback and open discussion and, ultimately, making music that’s unique to you.
The masterclasses and techniques taught aren’t DAW specific and can be applied in any DAW but will be demonstrated mainly in Logic Pro X with some Ableton Live.
Alongside her DJ schedule, as a producer Ceri has been making and releasing music for over 10 years via many labels, including sold out releases via her own Find Your Own label, featuring remixes from Fred P and Mr. G.
She has a masters in Music Production and has given talks and masterclasses on Music Production, Creativity and Meditation, for the likes of ADE, RedBull and Point Blank. She has also extensively taught music production at Point Blank and Beats Learning Music Schools for people of all ages, abilities and genres, in person and online.
