Bulletdodge Lp To Feature Atkins, Jefferson, Owens & More
Bulletdodge are preparing the debut album from label boss Gareth Whitehead, and it looks set to be an A list affair. Whitehead has used his industry clout to pull in collaborations from some of the biggest names in house and techno, old and new. Highlights include tracks produced with originators Marshall Jefferson, Juan Atkins, Robert Owens, and Lenny Dee & Frankie Bones, and, from more recent years, Pig & Dan, X-Press 2, Darren Emerson, Detroit Grand Pubahs, Space DJz, Ben Long, Tom Taylor and Werner Niedermeier.
To celebrate the album, Bulletdodge will also be releasing a series of singles, a remix album and a DJ mix containing a selection of the tracks from the project.
Making up the first of the singles are two tracks by Gareth Whitehead and Tom Taylor, accompanied by a remix from Motorcitysoul’s Matthias Vogt, released 28th July. The A Side has a surprisingly baggy feel – think mid period New Order with added techno bells and whistles..
