BIG WETT shares brand new single ‘NUMBER 1. PUSSY’

The Australian vocalist and producer’s new single comes with an official music video, and news of her signing with London label Play It Again Sam.

The first in a series of singles to be released, which preludes a new EP in summer, ‘NUMBER 1. PUSSY’ pairs her signature explicit spoken lyrics, which call to mind artists like Peaches and Uffie, with electronic beats and rave-influences.

Both in her lyrics, and as a performer and stage persona, she celebrates queer pride, femme power and sexual empowerment, and has been building a dedicated fanbase since first appearing in 2021.

After posting her first demo online in December of that year, she quickly gained attention and began playing live across Australia, including supporting the likes of Confidence Man, Channel Tres and Northeast Party House. This year sees her heading over to the UK to play at The Great Escape festival alongside her run of upcoming singles.
