Ben Khan Streams New Freek Funk Opus

Last year Ben Khan found himself causing all sorts of excitement with the 1992 EP, a collection of songs shot through with a raw talent, nodding to grime, RnB, soul and electronica, and coming up with something defiantly modern. Now Khan's back with the 1000 EP, two tracks of which are available to stream on Soundcloud. His sound has got a little more polished (probably no bad thing in this case- the drums swing with a life that previously eluded them), and comparisons to Jai Paul and James Blake aren't a million miles off the mark.
It's looking likely that 2015 is going to be a big year for Khan – you can catch him on one of his European tour dates through April…
