Andy Butler Gets Remixed By Dan Beaumont, Luke Solomon & More

Having already turned heads with his debut solo EP, Hercules & Love Affair man Andy Butler has handed out soulful techno banger You Can Shine to a clutch of like minded disco botherers, and from what we've heard, the results are pretty impressive. First on the list is Berlin based Artttu, who delivers a mix that walks a funky strut between weirdo techno bobbles and wailing gospel freak out. It's odd and quite splendid. For something a little more recognisable, and none the worse for it, Luke Solomon and Dan Beaumont team up to deliver a disco pumper, deep and glamorous as a glittery submarine, and Carry On round things up with a slinky piece of house, similar to the kind of thing they've delivered to Buzzin' Fly over the years.

You Can Shine is released through Butler's  Mr. Intl. label on June 29th – there are no previews yet, so it's time to give the original another spin…
