Pardon My French – THE RaNsom note MIX

Music

Pardon My French are a pair of Bristol-based House and Disco obsessives with a penchant for italo and slow jams. Theyve been mates since childhood and, after forming PMF in 2009, the demand for their sets has taken them to clubnights and festivals all over the UK and abroad.

In the early days, Pardon My French functioned as DJs for a uni radio show with a zero tolerance policy on dirty talk. It wasnt going to be the smoothest of beginnings for these miscreants, but from their incessant obligation to excuse their language, a pretty catchy moniker was hatched.

The pair went on to launch the Club Cosmique parties in Bristol back in 2010, with the likes of Bicep, Azari & III, Space Dimension Controller, Dam Funk and Tim Sweeney passing through to grace the decks. Alongside booking the artists who stand at the top of their dream line-up lists, the boys embraced the rude health of Bristols burgeoning house scene by inviting local producers and DJs to play at their aptly titled Pardon My Friends night, a monthly residency at one of the citys most favored haunts, The Bank of Stokes Croft.

Pardon My French currently hold down a weekly residency on Kiss FM, broadcasting Saturday nights at 4am.
