Horst Festival 2026 announces full lineup: evolution over echo

“We’re not interested in repeating what already works,” says Simon Nowak, Head of Music. “The 2026 programme is built around evolution, giving space to artists whose work carries depth, intention and a long-term cultural resonance.”

The lineup features US garage pioneer Todd Edwards, Detroit house originator Stacey Hotwaxx Hale, and Gilles Peterson & MC Rob Galliano alongside contemporary voices like Tia Cousins, Carré, DJ Swisha, Moxie, DJ Fart in the Club, Ehua, Yu Su, and Daphni.

True to Horst’s community-centred approach, the festival presents musical pairings that reflect deep scene appreciation: Call Super & Parris present Can You Feel the Sun, livwutang & Priori, Beatrice M. & Mankiyan, DJ Bus Replacement Service & quest?onmarq, and Night Moves (Jade Seatle & Jane Fitz).

The programme features a strong live focus, including Barker, Om Unit presents Acid Dub Studies, SnPLO (PLO Man & DJ Spence), Takuya Nakamura and OK EG. Priori & Patrick Holland perform as Jump Source, while Kaito Winse & Palmbomen II unite as Kaito-Kai.

Belgian artists take leading roles across the programme. Club-focused selectors AliA, Altinbas, Ben Kamal, Clara D, DJ Rino, Mankiyan, Nefeli, ONEY, and Shabz appear alongside live performances from Natasha Pirard, PiP & Ambroos De Schepper, and Jan Loup & Mika Oki. This local presence reflects Horst’s ongoing role as a springboard where scenes grow through continuity, trust, and shared context.

The programme also features curated takeovers from The Lot Radio and Kiosk Radio, with stage splits and the full Arts and Architecture programme set to be announced in February.

In a landscape increasingly shaped by algorithmic playlists and viral moments, Horst provides a welcome rejoinder – a space where musical artistry and long-term influence remain at the centre of the dancefloor.

Horst Festival 2026 takes place May 14-16 at Asiat Park, Vilvoorde, Belgium.
