This Week… let’s play 2020 out in style!

“If a man could have half of his wishes, he would double his troubles.”

Well how about that, we survived another year, well just. It’s been a long one, a boring one, an exciting one, a shit one, a great one, a funny one, a hopeless one, a hopeful one. Basically it’s been all of the above and a hell of a lot more. As we prepare to hibernate over Christmas alongside loved ones, I am hopeful that soon sh*t will be back to normal, whatever that is.

Anyway, this week saw more elderly people get vaccinated so presumably Bill Gates now knows the ins and outs of any care home gossip and has probably watched more Songs of Praise than he’d hoped for. I wonder if there’s a way to mute those damn vaccine microchips?

Elsewhere the government nearly cancelled Christmas but then they didn’t and then they nearly did again but alas they didn’t. If one thing has been consistent this year it’s been the absolute incosistency of decision making up top. I guess we probably shouldn’t expect much in the way of decisiveness from a man who’s likely had as many sexual partners as Ron Jeremy but with more kids.

Lastly, Trump still shouts random capitalised expressions on Twitter but not as much. This is a good thing. I also found it funny that a group of his supporters have adopted to wear kilts *cough* skirts. It’s cool, I’m Scottish, so I’m allowed to say that. You do you “Proud” Boys.

Here’s the internet for the last time this year…
