There's not really too much left to say at this point which hasn't already been said in regard to politics so perhaps it's best that we leave it at that and focus on other things. That's not to say that we won't find some funny memes along the way…

Anyway, this week the police and emergency services announced a new campaign designed to terrify members of the unassuming British public. Twitter sprung to life when a new hashtag began to trend which looked like it might signify the forthcoming signs of an apocalypse – which to be fair has been coming for a long time now.

These were the words emblazoned across the internet, they were paired alongside images of grab bags featuring some unlikely 'essentials' which we might require if we were faced with the likes of alien invasion, zombie attack, nuclear war or an unexepected visit from Jacob Rees Mogg. All bases were covered, from glow sticks to giant batteries. No expenses were spared…

Anyway, with all this Brexit nonsense we've been thinking that it might be time to leave the UK, emigrate to Australia or something. We heard they have a great property market out there and that the people are lovely and friendly…
