This Week… Dub, Murder And Big Brother

Commentary

"I've gotta' get through this" – D. Bedingfield

“What is dub? What is Reggae?” – A. King

"And so, my fellow Americans, ask not what your country can do for you — ask what you can do for your country." – J. F. Kennedy

Today is Friday, the best day of the week by a country mile and it’s Halloween. Anticipation for the weekend is in the air, you can take your foot off the gas another 25% as you reach for something in the distance, so close you can almost taste it, release your inhibitions. Feel the rain on your skin, no one else can feel it for you, only you can let it in, no one else, NO ONE ELSE can speak the words on your lips. Drench yourself in words unspoken, live your life with arms wide open, today is where your book begins.

That was lovely, wasn’t it? Thank you, Natasha Bedingfield.

The office has been rife with new music this week. A real cauldron of discovery. So many questions have been asked, answered and then asked again because it’s sometimes hard to hear people what with so much music flying about the room. Here’s a snapshot of our week. If you can help answer any of these things, don’t email or call in. We honestly do not care.

So what is Dub? Is it this?

Or is this dub?

Do these guys know about dub?

Also, what time is dub?

In other news..

Big Brother is watching you! Are you watching big brother? Not the TV show. That’s shit. I mean the Government, the Inner Party, the Illuminati, the Bilderberg group… don’t I?

I’m not sure anymore, but you are definitely being watched. Look

In fact, you can now help them get inside your home too thanks to Amazon’s smart lock and a camera

You and I… we’re Big Brother now. Don't worry, just stick a camera in your home, put a ‘smart lock’ on your door. Big Brother isn’t watching you, we’re watching ourselves. We’re fucking ourselves and watching at the same time.

Exciting though, isn’t it?

I always look in the mirror to keep updated with how I look. Not for vanity, just in case I forget or if something has changed. I bet you do too. Should we be friends? Maybe, but not the type of friends who take heroin and then murder our other friend over petty change.

This story sends a shiver down my spine, a horrifying and ‘heaftbreaking’ story of friends, drugs, £15 and Facebook. Sounds like a student night out but it isn't, it really isn't.

Remember kids; the drugs sometimes do not work. They just make you worse but I know I'll see your face again — exactly what the advertisers want too.

If the drugs don't work, just shoot them in the head whilst he drives by

They killed him, didn’t they? THEY CALLED THE CAMBRIDGE NEWS FFS. 🙁

Anyway, The Most Insania Interview Of The Week Award goes to… Jordan and her MASSIVE selections.

Who remembers Aswad? We all fucking love that band here in the office. R$N all week every week…

Wiggle wiggle.
