This Week in penguins and pools

"Do you hate people?I don't hate them…I just feel better when they're not around." Charles Bukowski

"Boxing is quite camp, it's two men fighting over a belt."  C. Brooker

"Subway and Costa are putting calorie information where people are buying." Cameron is a revolutionary!

"Most bumblebees do not have nuclear programmes."  Fox News

"I know you think it might sound funny but I just think that folding clothes in your suitcase makes them lighter."  Cohortmentalness

"Imagine if you could choose your mobile phone provider on Carbon emissions." Well done camerrs, I mean it doesn't help 17 people going for one job but you know…

"Do diplomatic relations between the UK and Syria still exist in?" John Humphreys
"Yes we have reduced the Embassy size" William Hague
"Well that'll worry Assad won't it." Humphreys

"Clearly there is no authority for a military intervention…" William Hague – cos there was a massive one for Iraq wasn't there. I'd concentrate on Iran mate anyway…

"Lloyds Banking Group has confirmed it is cutting £2m from bonuses paid to 13 executives"  Good of em. "Eric Daniels will lose £580,000 after his original £1.45m bonus was cut by 40%." That'll make Camers absolutely "sick". Sorry yeah, that's an incredibly "snobbish anti-business sentiment"

Oh and RBS doubles annual loss in 2011, fourth since bailout. Make sure you sort out that £400 million pounds bonuses tho. Yeah but it's massively lower than last year…

So Syria continues to massacre its own people, reporters + other with no visible signs of intervention or assistance from the UN, we send people to work for free in supermarkets and winter/spring is having a bit of an identity crisis today.
Shall we dive headlong some good stuff to keep us glowing as opposed to the dark cloud…

Let's start with just a nice little story about pools and penguins

Finnish president's husband sneaks a peek – brilliant. She could see his eyes on her before she even turned round. Uncomfortable clutch of the dress there…. – representing time as a hexidecimal colour value. Took me a while to work that one out – clicking the other button.

"Some people never go crazy. What truly horrible lives they must lead." and other wondrous sayings from Charles Bukowski

The Invisible Web (also called Deepnet, the Deep Web, Undernet, or the hidden Web) refers to World Wide Web content that is not part of the Surface Web, which is indexed by standard search engines.
