Bertha Dochouse launches a short docs night this month, amidst a strong and varied programme of documentaries every Thursday evening at the Curzon Bloomsbury. The Broken Borders shorts take a deeper look at global diaspora and migration to Europe, with The Land Between Us collating a series of films examining the near billion displaced peoples searching for something better.

Later in the month Wes Orshoki's documentary about the Damned shows on September 24th, following the first UK punk band to be pressed to wax from their inception through countless lineup changes to their 35th anniversary in 2011. Also catch a Q&A with Sean McAllister following the a screening of his new film Syrian Love Story, which follows a family's hard struggle for freedom following a split by the Arab Spring.
