The Social Festival Adds Four Tet And No Artificial Colours

What a veritable palate of flavours! Saved Record’s The Social Festival, which takes place on 12th September, has just added Four Tet and No Artificial Colours to its already delicious autumnal line up that includes DJ Koze, Cassy, Jackmaster, George Fitzgerald and Dubfire. Mmm, imagine the meal Jamie Oliver could rustle up with those ingredients: all festivals are about food nowadays.
Four Tet needs no introduction but is of course the electronic producer of eclectic tastes, that everyone likes, whose Morning/Evening LP is coming out soon on Text Records and whose 2010 In The Studio video with FM is well worth a watch. He’s like the burger part of the burger.
No Artifical Colours have had recent success on Kerri Chandler’s Madtech and PMR with their infectious house, and have just launched their Night Colours giveaway series. They’re like a spicy, jerk mayonnaise that really gave that burger some zing.
Curated by house and techno DJ Nic Fanciulli and with a line up that also hosts Joy Orbison, Seth Troxler and Richie Hawtin, this festival promises to bring a taste of Ibiza to Maidstone, Kent. I told you festivals were all about food. What a perfect way to taper out the end of the Balearic season- with the man behind Kent’s Saved parties at the healm and a mere hour's train journey out of London. Yum.
