The Beat Hotel announces four day escape in Marrakech for 2019

The longstanding event series is set to touch down in Morocco in 2019 for a four day cultural event which will feature appearances from an array of musicians and disc jockeys. Names announced so far include the Brian Eno-endorsed spiritual multi-instrumentalist Laraaji, James Holden, Awesome Tapes From Africa, Andrew Weatherall and more. The event will take place between the 28th and 31st of March next year in the foothills of the Atlas Mountains for what will be the first time that The Beat Hotel has held an international edition.
There has also been a focus placed on supporting upcoming musical talent from the local area with the likes of Yasmean, Polyswitch and Casavoyager some of the names to be announced from within the Moroccan scene. Other international guests set to appear as part of the programme include Gilles Peterson, Auntie Flo, Haai, Peach, Gerd Janson, Palms Trax and Perel with many more to come.
