Simple Things 2018 Reveal Full Lineup With Helena Hauff, Slowdive, Dj Stingray
Since its inception in 2011, Bristol's Simple Things has evolved into one of the best festivals the UK has to offer, constantly hitting that sweet spot between crowd-pleasing and experimental programming. Returning on 20th October, this year's edition will be split into day and night lineups for the first time.
Spread across numerous venues, the daytime programme will be focused on live music, with shoegaze pioneers Slowdive topping the bill alongside the likes of Rival Consoles, Kamaal Williams, Tirzah, Iglooghost and James Holden and the Animal Spirits.
By night, Simple Things takes to the Lakota complex and Coroners Courts, with six rooms of uncompromising electronic music. Electro dons Helena Hauff and DJ Stingray headline the main room, while the Whities takeover in Room Two features a live set from Giant Swan and DJ sets from Minor Science and label boss Tasker. Elsewhere you can look forward to DJ sets from the likes of Optimo, Jane Fitz, Dave Harvey, DJ Python, LOFT and Mafalda.
Tickets for Simple Things 2018 DAY and NIGHT go on sale tomorrow (27th July) at 9am.
