So where to start? Three of London's best underground promoters – two of them on birthday duties – come together with one of the biggest and best line-ups this town has seen in years, at what many regard as its finest club. That's where.

In the Plex room, we have a line-up of electronic elegance and footstomping ferocity. As it's our 5th birthday, we thought it only right to bring back a number of favourites we've had on over the years and let them loose on Corsica's main room rig once again.

Back from Berlin, we welcome the unique Ancient Methods for both a live PA and DJ set. They're truly in a class of their own when it comes to building heavy, driving grooves without falling into the trap of 'harder/faster is better' and have destroyed Plex every time they've played, the most recent performance being a hefty 5am slot at this year's Bloc Weekend. Former Tresor residents, they'll be playing a full live show followed by a DJ masterclass in purist techno.

Joining them will be Ali Wells aka Perc, who runs the seminal Perc Trax label and is regarded as one of the leading lights in today's electronic music scene. Ali makes his long awaited live debut at Plex and it's a set we're really looking forward to – expect fresh tracks delivered in a typically bruising, unrelenting style.

The name Neil Landstrumm, meanwhile, is rightly regarded with adulation in the electronic music world. With a career that stretches back sixteen years across multiple genres, he's truly a masterful producer, and with a 12" off the back of his collaborative project with JD Twitch of Optimo, Doubleheart, about to drop on Instra:mental's righteous NonPlus+ imprint, be ready for an astonishing new live show from him.

Matt Whitehead is probably one of the most naturally gifted artists we know: blending acid house, techno, synth-funk and electro, he is truly in a class of his own, and will be showing why with the the room's fourth live PA, no less.

Dask has been a friend and ally since we started out way back in November 2006 when he played at the very first Plex, and has featured in countless other parties since then. He'll be providing a superlative DJ set to compliment all the live shenanigans.

In support are your trusty party-smashing residents James Tec and Luke Handsfree.

Over in room 2, Colony – celebrating their 3rd birthday – come correct with a bass-heavy line-up that shows why they've been at the forefront of London's underground scene since their inception in 2008.

They've invited the on-fire Mancunian Andy Stott down for a live show on the back of two highly acclaimed LPs and a slew of dancefloor killing sets, nabbed a long-overdue DJ set from the Bristolian post-junglist genius Peverelist, who's own mind-bending productions and releases on his ever-excellent Punch Drunk imprint augment his genre-spanning DJ sets, and drafted in The Village Orchestra aka TVO, who has long been one of the foremost innovators in the British techno/bass/IDM scene.

Support comes from residents MB and CB, who know how to turn the party out, and the mysterious Tengui, Perc Trax's newest member.

Finally, Machine bring their thrilling techno party concept to the specially expanded club (room 3 ain't normally there!), with a handful of the scene's most esteemed members. No record any of their line-up plays will be over a year old, so expect only the freshest sounds all night long.

Techno masters Surgeon, Adam X (aka Traversable Wormhole), Ben Sims and Kirk Degiorgio know more than a thing or two about rocking dancefloors, and have all been key players in the development of techno and wider electronic music(s) over the past ten years plus. To say it's a real treat to be able to hear all four of these guys on the same night is one hell of an understatement.

With visuals by Mox and a specially installed Funktion-One rig (complimenting Corsica's two permanent F1 systems), it'll no doubt go off in here. As it will across the club.

Unsurprisingly, tickets are selling fast, so go get yours pronto. Seriously, do it, it's going to be amazing. See you on the dancefloor!
