Art & Culture

As the Pickle Factory comes into it’s first summer, the season’s programme announcement lists over 30 events. May through to August, The Pickle Factory – an extension of sister club Oval Space – further posits its place as a stripped back space for music lovers.

Three months of events with artists at the forefront of electronic music kick off this Thursday. Kate Simko performs, launching her new album with the London Electronic Orchestra. Space Dimension Controller plays all night long (13th) while Big Wave’s Nordic Rave (20th) brings Telephones, Skatebård, Bjørn Torske behind the booth. Brian not Brian (22th), DJ Masda (27th) play, with Amir Alexander (28th) bringing May to a close.

June brings another all night long, with Alexander Dekay (3rd). Highlights include Solar and Eric Duncan (17th) followed by Dan Shake and Alexander Nut (18th), plus the first UK showcase of Vera and Alexandra’s label, Melliflow.

July pushes a tougher offering with a live set from Benjamin Damage (9th) plus Martyn and Christopher Rau on the 15th.
