Off The Page Literary Festival Returns September

The Wire has announced that 'Off The Page', it's music themed literature festival, is to return this September. Taking place at Bristol's Arnolfini from September 26th – 28th, the magazine describes the festival as "a literary festival concerned with sound, a music festival without music."
Opening with an audience with living legend Robert Wyatt, who will be discussing the publication of his authorised biography, other speakers over the weekend are set to include leftfield songwriter Carla Bozulich, sound historian Sarah Angliss and cultural theorist Paul Gilroy. With more speakers to be announced, and The Wire's generally impeccable credentials for picking out the unusual in a sea of the usual, Off The Page looks like a quality repreive from the identikit festivals sweeping Britain – tickets are priced from £8-£10 a day and are available online (along with further announcements) from the festival website.
