Art & Culture

MUSLAB, the international electroacoustic festival returns this autumn for a third edition, with a London date set for the 3rd of October at the Chelsea College of Art. The festival invites composers of electroacoustic music, sound artists and visual artists to create an assembly with variable geometry in which a number of concerts and listening sessions take place. The festival, founded by cultural association CAMIN-ART, has in previous years has run across a number of countries including Mexico, France, Argentina and Brazil. It aims to promote and disseminate contemporary artistic creation and access to specialised music and has achieved this through the use of new technology, technique, composition and transformative use of public space.

Previous editions of the festival have seen 150 artists perform in 20 concerts across a number of cities around the world, with broadcasts supported on a number of local radio stations. Here in London expect listening sessions with Aaron Cassidy, Ilia Rogatchevski, Damien Lintell-Smith, Liz Helman, Kyle Stewart and more. 2016’s London concerts feature, amongst others, David Topp, Steve Beresford & Bianca Regina.
