Mini-Tusk Festival Planned For July 12th In Newcastle

With the full festival set to return in October, the folks behind Tusk Festival have unveiled pland for a one-day taster event to take place on July 12th at the festival's regular home of The Star & Shadow Cinema.

 

Tusk is where high-grade international sound and music-makers get together to meet, in Newcastle, and put on spectacular performances that you're unlikely to see anywhere else. This one day taster menu features Swedish proto-punk brainbombers No Balls, French psych/prog legend Richard Pinhas, steaming Mancunian psych septet Desmadrados Soldados De Ventura and much more

 

Beside this expect an amazing film programme, ear-warping DJ action, the usual mouth-watering merch mountain, plus the very reverend Richard Dawson as Master of Ceremonies. The whole event will be streamed live and archived on the Tusk site.
