Marc Hasler And Clandestino Set For Vanishing Point
Hackney Downs, doesn’t that sound like a scary place? Somewhere where ghostly highway men might come through on their way to an Inn, filled with one eyed crooks and villains. Maybe this inn is called The Star. Maybe on the 18th of July this dusty old inn will hold host to the returned flagrant that is Vanishing Point, before it disappears and ceases to exist. Vanishing Point is of course an event, not a person, but that’s OK, we’re working (working is a strong word… – Ed.) with metaphors here.
Andrew Thompson’s gin-swilling knees-up will be headed by Clandestino, who will be offering up a mix of chug, disco and folk, and Vanishing Point resident Marc Hasler with his mix of acid, dub and eclectic sounds from 7pm. Your money or your lives! We're kidding, it’s free entry. There will be BBQ food too. OK, well if you didn’t like the night being compared to a highway man, the event page compared it to a lady which might be more up your street… See you on the slab.
Vanishing Point takes place on 18th July at The Star by Hackney Downs, find out more here.
