Locdown is back and proud to announced super young talent dj/producer Bearight storming from the ancient city of Kyoto, Japan. Berlin based artist maintains numerous projects. Having a passion for various forms of musical expressions Bearight started his quest never-ending search to find the ever-evolving sound that defines him best with his sold project: special blend of funk, house, dub, swing,and blues.

Initially going for sloppy piano lessons and neck-wrecking violin lessons, Bearight always enjoyed improvising more than being taught what to play. So he picked up a number of instruments like the guitar and cello to play. Having experienced the bleeps, bloops, and boom-boom-booms for the first time in 2007 at sweaty dark basement dancefloor somewhere in London, he decided to focus his efforts on musical composition. Not forgetting his own history, his style of production focuses heavily on improvisation. Currently, he is working on a project with his imaginary friends, gathering life experiences and writing songs about them with his partner-in-productions introducing Bearight & The Lowtone Meister.

DJ and producer Gabbi Lopez is a resident at Cafe 1001 in Brick Lane and has played alongside some impressive names in the past including Jimpster, Derrick May, joey Beltram, Francois K, Terry Francis, Felix da Housecat, Eddie richards, Dave angel and Metro Area. His style is stripped down techno, minimal and deep house. Funk-edged and dubby, you can’t help but nod your head and tap you foot when he’s on the decks.
