Lapsus announce rare Moritz von Oswald live show in Barcelona

Art & Culture

The multi faceted label come festival come arts platform has unveiled the next in a series of shows taking place across 2019. This year marked the first time that the festival was split and consolidated across multiple dates in different venues. The latest announcement sees Lapsus unveil a special performance from electronic innovator Moritz von Oswald. He will present his live show in Spain for the very first time.

Moritz von Oswald remains one of the defining figureheads of electronic music as a member of Basic Channel, Rhythm & Sound, Maurizio and as one half of the Borderland duo alongside Juan Atkins. His own music is experimental and abstract, a fusion of electronic and other worldly influences merged in a cosmic combination. He will present a new live show called 'Akklamation' – it will be accompanied by "an innovative three-dimensional sound system developed by Intorno Labs and designed specifically for each show."

The overarching theme and title of the next Lapsus event is 'The Echo Chamber' and the show will also feature performances from local Barcelona artist Pina. More names are to be announced in the coming months.

The event will take place on the 28th of September in Barcelona.
