Inner City Electronic announce Andrew Weatherall tribute talk

Leeds festival inner city electronic will pay tribute to Andrew Weatherall’s outstanding contribution to music and culture as part of their 2020 conference programme.
Featuring long term friends and musical partners; Justin Robertson, Sean Johnston and Joe Muggs, and hosted by Chris Madden, the special talk will explore musical memories about Andrew, who was billed to play the festival under his ALFOS guise with Johnston.
DJ and inner city electronic festival organiser Ralph Lawson said "Weatherall truly transcended our little scene. Most heartwarming of all was the constant stream of stories that flowed and flowed until our social media feeds became a torrent of outpouring love for the man. Andrew was booked to perform, as well as take part in our conference programme at inner city electronic 2020. We knew that we would like to honour him, but it’s been an extremely difficult week for everyone to process. However, the response has been phenomenal with friends traveling in from across Europe to make its happen.”
A Tribute to Andrew Weatherall (Fail We May, Sail We Must) will take place at Leeds College of Music from 6PM on Saturday 7th March in their main auditorium ‘The Venue’.
