Hardbody Announce 1st Birthday Event With Black Merlin

After a year at Canavan's Pool Hall in Peckham, Hardbody are moving north of the river for a birthday bash in Stoke Newington. Before leaving South London they are hosting Sacha Mambo, joint head of the label at Macadam Mambo (Lyon) at Rye Wax. Expect some serious edit business, afro to acid and elsewhere as he shows why he has produced on labels including Traxx, Samo DJ and Joe's Bakery Band. He is joined on the night by NTS's Elena Colombi, where her shows and 'Abbatoir' parties push an "inimitable blend of new wave, EBM, post-punk and industrial psychedelia". Following up in April, they celebrate their first birthday with a rare UK appearance of Black Merlin. After a flurry of activity over the past year, George Thompson has found time away from his field trips to show why his singles, and his album 'Hipnotik Tradisi' are so widely respected. His releases have appeared on labels including Pinkman, Boyznoize, Bird Scarer and Crimes Of The Future. If all of this business in one month is not enough, the birthday event also features International Feel's Gatto Fritto.
