To celebrate the passing of the summer solstice and the marrying of venus with the planet neptune (or something), Glitterball is back for night of moon worship, sacrifice and general trance-like wobbling (sans trance), bringing heathen like rituals and quasi-orgasmic chanting to its place of dancefloor worship. Expect lots of white things, a fair few bloody things, and the odd pentangle.
Gatto Fritto, the scourge of Kensal Rise, returns fresh releasing his debut album on International Feel to bring his unique mix of lunar house and pentangular disco rhythms. He's released all sorts of bombs on Dissident Records, Fritto Morto and Electric Minds, and is a killer DJ, so expect the place to go up in a cloud of pagan, mystic smoke.
As always, Glitterball resident DJs Simon Busby and Marcus Blunt will also be on hand to sacrifice some animals and play the usual hotbed of badass disco, homespun house, psychedelic rock, moonshine dub and other bits of demented party music.
