Glasgow’s School Of Art Announce May Programme

One of Glasgow's most buzzing creative hubs The Art School has kept locals entertained and informed since the 1930s, providing a unique space for experimentation and exploration of the arts. The versatile venue hosts an array of projects and performances from the biggest international acts to the exhibitions of artistic beginners.
Between the venue's club nights, live gigs, festivals and film premiere's there 'ought to be something for everyone. You can expect sets from Jackmaster, Hot Chip, James Holden, Helena Hauff, and Optimo. Young Fathers will also be making an appearance on the 20th of May but unfortunately tickets for this show are sold out so it may be a bit hard getting into that one…
Club nights Balkanarama, Itchy Feet and Optimo's Bucky Skank plus Live at Glasgow Festival 2015 are among the events that will take place. The Art School and Optimo also present the Scottish film premiere of 'Industrial Soundtrack for the Urban Decay', which explores the origins of industrial music.
Feeling generous? Head down on the 21st of May to 'What is it good for? – A night of music in aid of War Child' with JD Twitch, BAKE, JG Wilkes, Ryan Martin, Freaky Freaky feat DJ Milktray and more. All proceeds from the night will go to War Child.
