Full Time Hobby To Celebrate 10 Years At Southbank

Art & Culture

Full Time Hobby have spent the last decade giving the underground a break. From promoting the pioneering pagan folktronica of Tuung, to the whispering dream pop of Smoke Fairies, to the raucous garage bombs of White Denim, the label has had an admirabel hit rate when it comes to picking a cause. Plus they get David Shrigley in to do the art work, always a bonus.

On the 13th – 19th October the label celebrates it's ten years in the business with a series of gigs at the Southbank centre, featuring performances from Tuung, Diagrams, Erland and the Carnival, Leisure Society, Smoke Fairies and more

The shows are part of a week of events celebrating the labels 10 years in existence, alongside a two-disc compilation the label’s releasing entitled ‘What The Hell Are You Doing?’. The album (released 13th October) will feature songs from Tunng,The Hold SteadyMalcolm Middleton, The Leisure Society, White DenimErland & The Carnival, and Smoke Fairies plus special David Shrigley artwork.
