Field Day Announce Stage Splits For 2018

Art & Culture

Field Day have just announced the full line up and stage splits for this year’s festival on their new site in South London’s Brockwell Park.

Thundercat will headline the main stage on Saturday while Four Tet returns to the festival to headline The Barn with his live show, topping off a day which will also see sets from Floating Points, Panda Bear, Daphni, Nils Frahm and Willow. The Barn is a state of the art sound and lighting rig that debuted at Field Day last year under Aphex Twin’s stewardship.

Elsewhere Fever Ray, Daniel Avery and Gilles Peterson will headline the Crack, Resident Advisor and Bugged Out stages. Ransom Note contributor and guest editor Young Marco will join Jayda G to play the Bugged Out stage while Helena Hauff, Tzusing and Avalon Emerson play the Resident Advisor stage. Internet dance sensation Jimothy Lacoste will play the first set of the day for the Crack stage, warming up for Earl Sweatshirt and Princess Nokia.

Friday’s programming takes more of a jazz and soul focus. Erykah Badu headlines the Eat Your Own Ears stage with support from South London’s very own Loyle Carner. Tony Allen and Jeff Mills team up to headline the Dimensions stage as Brownswood set up camp on the MOTH Club and It’s Nice That stage. The more intimate Bandstand will see DJ sets from Donna Leake, Beauty & The Beat and Brilliant Corners.
