Join the Ears Have Eyes collective for their first soiree of 2011 a KLAMAUK PARTY!
After nearly two years of throwing illicit parties in a secret venue tucked away in the depths of Londons east end Ears Have Eyes are very excited to present a KLAMAUK PARTY showcasing a label responsible for some of the most exciting off-kilter house music and bleep laden micro-funk of the last two years.
Label head Tilman (Klamauk) will be flying in from Germany especially for the event. He set up the Klamauk label in 2008 with the idea of putting together music from a well selected variety of artists with different viewpoints and approaches to enrich the musical spectrum of each release without loosing klamauks own musical viewpoint. In addition to purveying quality music, Klamauks vision is to also push design, with the limited edition vinyl runs having printed digital artwork in black and white and then each cover being colored by hand to make every one a unique piece of art.
To support Tilman, Leif (Klamauk/Fear of Flying/Moonharbour) will be returning for his second appearance for Ears Have Eyes and we are very happy to have him back! Leifs music has been going from strength to strength of late, seeing him record for some of the most exciting labels around and take his DJ sets across the continent and across the globe. He will be bringing his unique blend of deep, dubby microhouse through to jackin chicago house / tech house and garage.
Joining Leif and Tilman will be the EHE residents + special guests Head of State (Secret Garden Party) and Ash Seaborne and Jon Hughes (3Partsand) in the sweaty Dalston basement that is the Visions Video Bar.
PLUS:
A selection of weird films from a special guest lady + phil chords
EHE are definitely starting as we mean to go on for 2011.
