Art & Culture

DGTL Festival, the music festival for all things electronic, has announced their full line-up for their weekend bender in Barcelona. Usually hosted in Amsterdam, this year DGTL have decided to go where the sun shines for longer and brighter in Parc del Fòrum.

August 14th-15th will see more than 40 national and international artists packed into the city. They'll be playing their music on three stages with new designs, lighting, and art installations promised. The latest two additions to a bill that also features Maceo Plex, Ben Klock, Âme, Marcel Dettmann and Joseph Carter are Adam Beyer and Henrik Schwarz. Underground masterminds John Talabot, George FitzGerald and Job Jobse will also be present. If you want to check out DGTL Festival's full line-up you can do so here.

As always, DGTL Festival have divided their program into music, digital art, and a sustainabiliy program. This year, DGTL Barcelona (who have already been awarded two of the four stars for a greener festival) will be focusing on plastic waste. They will be collecting, sorting and recylcing all of the plastic used during the festival. On June 20th they also hosted Surf & Help where volunteers collected garbage on the beach to prevent marine animals from consuming or getting trapped in the debris. Volunteers were given a free day ticket to the festival. So, if you want to dive into a weekend of electronic music that won't hurt your green conscience, DGTL have got you sorted.
