Convenanza 2016 Announces Line-Up For Andrew Weatherall Festival

Convenanza, the Andrew Weatherall Festival held yearly in Carcassonne, France has revealed the full line-ups of "hand-picked by The Guv" curated shows over three days. Weatherall himself will play live for the first time in seven years, joining long term collaborator Nina Walsh in their Woodleigh Research Facility guise, showcasing recent album 'The Phoenix Suburb'. Silver Apples, the New-York pioneers of electronic music and urban psychedelic shamans will present their new album 'Clinging To A Dream'. Red Axes will also play an exclusive live set, as will Fumaça Preta, a trio led by Venezuelan singing drummer Alex Figueira. On the decks, Optimo will play B2B with Weatherall, Sean Johnston will partner again with A Love From Outer Space, and expect 'Music's Not For Everyone' sets from The Guv and Red Axes. All of this takes place in a stunning medieval castle in the UNESCO protected city in the South Of France, with fine wines and food prepared by Michelin starred chefs.
