Artist Call-Out To ‘Creatively Destroy’ A Floor Of Former Bbc Television Centre

Art & Culture

The White Noise Project are offering a residency for artists to occupy a floor of the soon to be demolished BBC Television Centre. Over the summer successful applicants can do what they will to an empty space in the east tower.

As the building is listed for demolition in August, the activity can include dramatic or permanent changes to the interior environment. The parameters leave it open for almost anything, be it filming, recording, installations or performance, as long as the integrity of the buildings structure stays intact.  Artists will be paid for the opportunity, and receive a grant to fund their work.
