Music

The East London based record label which is founded and run by Jon Tye is set to celebrate its twentieth year in business by releasing a compilation ironically titled "It's Been Hell". The release features music from Grimes, Aphex Twin, Nathan Fake, Hot Chip, Squarepusher, The Chip and many more. The label has been on a roll as of late reissuing music from the likes of Bernard Fevre however the scale of the back catalgue which Jon Tye has been responsible for releasing is vast. Jon Tye explains the label's achievement as follows…

“20 years and counting of exploratory music… So much of it and so much goodness. Starting off in a basement underneath Spitalfields Market at a time when there was no email – or at least not for me – and the fax machine was king."
