Single Review: Ed Wizard & Disco Double Dee – Chop 40
Should Rockstar decide to bring out another installment of GTA: Vice City, they may as well give the entire soundtrack duties over to this mysterious duo (they may well just be one guy; producer Dave Allison). The 5 tracks on show here strut and shimmy like a pimp on payday. Wizard and Double Dee chop their way through a stack of fat backed breaks, porny grooves and car chase wah guitar with ease, comfortably working with a wide range of tempos, from the laid back 100 bpm licks of 'Pinky', to the 118 bpm funk floor filler 'Sho Nuff'. Disco heads take note.
